		<description>hello....I am also an AAO family member, just returned on April 4 with our baby.

I noticed your blog for the first time today and the question....do you know who the real parents are?

My husband was adopted when he was 5 and its amazing, he still gets this question all the time.
As soon as the subject comes up that he is adopted, the first question is &#039;Do you know who your parents are?&#039;
I guess for some reason, people automatically think that because you are adopted you have an incredible desire to locate your birth parents. I think this is mostly because of how adoption is portrayed in Hollywood.
My husband actually has met his birth parents, his birth brother was the best man in our wedding.  When he is asked if he knows his parents, he looks the person strait in the eye and says &quot;Of course I know why my parents are, do you?&quot;

They usually get the point and he isn&#039;t being rude at all, he is just asking the same question that was asked of him.
