on the bright side it gives you time to really prepare for a child. but it’s still a pain waiting.

I realize this is an older post, I just had to say that I hope the process did speed up for you. Adoption is such an emotional rollercoaster, its hurry up and wait, then wait some more…. So hard to live like that on a daily basis.
I checked out that site listed above, my husband and I decided to go through them for our adoption. Thank you very much for the info — we really appreciate it.

I agree with Lori: the process is tough. I, too, went through myadoptionforms.com and that made the process a little easier, but only because the paperwork was done.

It still doesn’t compensate for the fact that you’re still waiting. I wish that the adoption process was easier.

I know how you feel. It took me it seems like years to go through the adoption process, and I was adopting my boyfriend’s child, and it’s taking forever.

The only blessing was that the paperwork was easy. I went through myadoptionforms.com, and it was so smooth. I hope that the process will soon be over.
